Frequently Asked Questions
I am currently focused on premade fursuits at this time! If in the future I do decide to take on customs again, I will post about it on my social media, so if you want to keep an eye out please follow me on Twitter, Instagram, or Bluesky!
Yes, I have successfully shipped to Canada, the UK, EU, and Australia, and am willing to try most other countries. Shipping cost varies greatly between different countries, so please contact me with your specific situation for an estimate. Please be aware that additional import fees, such as tariffs or VAT, may be charged to you by your own country, in addition to what I charge for shipping, and I cannot always predict how much these will be.
If you want to receive your fursuit right away, you have a few options:
PayPal Pay Later - For purchases greater than $1500, there will be an option on your PayPal invoice to work out a monthly payment plan. Approval, length of payment plan, and interest rate are contingent on your personal credit score.
PayPal Pay in 4: For purchases less than $1500, PayPal offers an interest-free loan to split your purchase into 4 payments - one due at the time of purchase, and the rest every two weeks after.
Learn more about these options on PayPal's website.
With both of these options, I get paid by PayPal immediately and can ship your fursuit out right away. After that, any issues or concerns that come up with your payment plan are between you and PayPal, and I cannot help you with them. You are unable to cancel once you have paid your down payment, and are contractually obligated to complete it. If you would like to check if you would be approved for a PayPal payment plan, and what kind of interest rate you are eligible for, contact me and I can set up a no-commitment "soft" invoice for you to check. Of course, you can also arrange your own loan through the financial institution of your choice -- PayPal is just what I am familiar with!
Occasionally, I will offer payment plans arranged through me for fursuits that have been up for sale for at least one month. I don't prefer to manage payment plans due to the possibility of customers backing out, ghosting, missing payments, etc. but I will consider it if a suit has not sold for a while. There will be a nonrefundable deposit to ensure commitment to the payment plan. Please contact me to discuss this option if you have had your eye on a suit that has been up for sale for a while!
I include a care booklet for all fursuits I send out, but for more detailed information, Clean Fursuits is a fantastic resource! A quick run-down is included below.
Non-head parts: Be sure to brush before wearing so they look nice, spray with an isopropyl/water mix (many sell scented "fursuit spray" at conventions!) between uses to disinfect and keep them smelling nice and fresh, hand or machine wash with COLD water when a deeper clean is needed, and air dry with fans, making sure everything is 100% dry before storing to prevent mildew. Any sort of heat will ruin your fursuit, so never use a dryer, even if it has a low heat setting.
Head: While your Aeluromancy fursuit eyes are sealed against some water situations, like being out in the rain, they cannot be submersed in water in a tub or washing machine, as being soaked in water may ruined the eyes. If you need to deep clean your fursuit head, I recommend using a portable carpet cleaner such as a Little Green Machine. Carefully cleaning with a wet rag is also fine. Your fursuit head shouldn't need to be cleaned often, and spraying the inside with your isopropyl spray is usually more than enough :)
I learned by reading and watching tutorials, following fursuit makers who post WIPs, and lots of trial and error! You can find patterns for almost any fursuit part on Etsy, and tutorials on Youtube if you're more of a visual learner. Some specific resources I found helpful starting out were Matrices, Mugiwara Cosplay, and fursuit patterns on Etsy in general. Don't invest too much in supplies until you know you actually like working with fur - my first paws were made of scraps I had lying around, and I didn't invest in a sewing machine until after I had made a few suits.

"uh-lure-oh-mancy," and it means predicting the weather by observing the movement of cats! My own cats don't seem to have the gift of predicting the weather, but I do know it's cold if they're begging me to turn on the electric blanket so that's something.
